Feedback is the official chat for users to provide their constructive feedback and suggestions to improve xat. The chat is open to all users in every translatable language, no registration required. Our staff will listen to any thoughtful idea designed to improve xat – no matter how big or small.
Feedback provides an alternative platform to the forum, tickets, contacting smiley makers, and other methods for making suggestions. We understand that not every user speaks English or has a forum account. Even if they did, posting suggestions can be an exhausting process – registering, reading the guidelines, checking for identical suggestions, writing a detailed post with lots of thoughtful ideas, and sometimes translating it too. It can also be intimidating for new or inexperienced users, if they are worried about their idea receiving criticism.
Feedback makes the process of suggesting ideas quicker, easier and more comfortable for users. If a user messages our staff, they will receive immediate free-flowing conversational input on their suggestions – no waiting around. Our staff will try to improve and expand ideas, where possible. We do the hard work for users and take the stress out of posting formal suggestions.
We then forward the suggestions to the right people in the right places for a chance to be implemented, or we will publish the idea ourselves, always providing the user with full credit for their idea. This may include forwarding the suggestion directly to xat admins. We ensure all thoughtful suggestions are accounted for, where feasible. Feedback is designed to provide a platform for users to ensure their voices are heard.
Take the VRecord topic for example. We listened to a user’s idea, thought critically about it, wrote a detailed argument for it, and even created concept images for it – providing full credit where due. We also helped develop and organize the following suggestions: (1) Powers Store Updates; (2) Promotional Packages of Xats and Days; (3) Changelogs for Chats; and (4) New Scroll Movements. If our staff are not online within the chat, users can alternatively fill out a quick and easy Google Form to provide their constructive feedback. This means our feedback system is operational at all times. The manager of Feedback, Crow (1994), will read all submissions posted through this channel.
Indeed, Feedback chat continues to serve its own unique purpose within the xat community, just like Help, Trade, Game, Contests and Loja.
